The
Chrouser Aquatics Center (formerly known as the Chrouser Fitness
Center, or CFC) was completed in the summer of 1981, becoming the
first pool at Wheaton College. The center houses a 61 foot wide
by 110 foot long pool, with a moveable divider which enables multiple
configurations for programming. The eight lane racing course can
be set at 25 yards or 25 meters of total deep water for competition.
Balcony overlooks or windows are available for viewing on all four
sides of the natatorium; a nine line scoreboard provides readouts
during swim meets. A one meter and three meter diving board and
hot tub complete the facility.
