The girls swimming and diving team achieved it highest ever sectional finish this past weekend, amassing 237 points to finish second out of 13 teams to Downers Grove North. The girls also advanced six swimmers to the state finals. Special congratulations to sectional champions (receiving automatic state berths) Meghan Bagley (200 free) and the 200 free relay of Sarah Schaffer, Cindy Jezuit, Kaitlyn Simoneau, and Meghan Bagley. School records were also established by Sarah Schaffer (100 free), and the 200 free relay. State qualifiers were the 200 medley relay (Erin Sivak, Erin Bagley, Schaffer, Jezuit), 200 free relay (Schaffer, Jezuit, Simoneau, M. Bagley), Meghan Bagley (200 free, 500 free), Erin Bagley (200 IM), Sarah Schaffer (100 free), and the 400 free relay (Schaffer, Jezuit, E. Bagley, M. Bagley)
