Congratulations to the 2008 state team on an 18th place team finish and some outstanding perormances! Check out full Meet Results and updated Team Stats and Records. Highlights are as follows:

  • WWS Senior Danielle Reminger capped off a stellar career in fine fashion. She finished 19th in the 200 free with a best time of 1:54.70. She also finished 6th in the 100 fly. Her prelims time of 56.68 earned her Automatic All-American honors and set a new team record. This was also the 37th fastest performance in Illinois State Meet History, and Danielle is the 29th fastest performer of all time in Illinois!
  • WWS Junior Jessica Wellick recorded Wheaton's second highest finish in history with her 4th place finish in the 500 free. Her prelims time of 5:01.14 earned All-American Consideration honors. She also finished 13th in the 200 free with an outstanding time of 1:53.22.
  • The 400 free relay finished 11th with an All-American consideration time of 3:35.17 (prelims). Swimming on the relay were Cindy Jezuit (WNHS, So), Reminger, Meghan Bagley (WWSHS, So), and Wellick. Wellicks anchoring time of 52.10 is the fastest 100 free in team history.
