Congratulations to 2005 WNHS and Wheaton Co-op grad Kristen Hohl who set an NCAA Div III National Record in the 200 medley relay at this spring's National Championships in Oxford, OH. Kristen is currently a junior at Denion University in Ohio.
The Denison 200 medley relay team which is comprised of sophomore Olivia Zaleski (Corry, Pa./Corry Area), freshman Ksenia Golovkina (Newton, Mass./South), sophomore Kate Rich (McMurray, Pa./Peters Township) and junior Kristen Hohl (Winfield, Ill./Wheaton North) set a new NCAA record with a time of 1:43.19. The DU relay team broke a record previously set at the 2001 NCAA Championships in Buffalo, N.Y.
The title was highlighted by Rich's 24.74 split in the butterfly quarter of the relay. Hohl closed out the race with a 22.92 split in the freestyle. |
