Thursday, November 21, 2002

1:15 p.m.            After 7th hour, stop by AD’s office for pins and send-off

1:20 p.m.            Girls come to Wheaton College as normal, Sveens bring Aubri with her gear for overnight

2:00 p.m.            practice at Wheaton College, Aubri included

3:00 p.m.            Aubri fax sheet to ETHS (due by 5:00 but may be changes up until 8:00 Friday)

3:45 p.m.            Aubri and Jennifer leave for Evanston – get something to eat on the way if you like.

5-9:00 p.m.        Diving practice at ETHS; Jennifer pick up coach’s packet and will-call tickets.  Included are coaches’ ticket and participant passes.  Get alternates their passes when they arrive Friday morning.  Jake will call Bill’s cell phone when he gets close to ETHS with the swimmers to pick up remaining passes and tickets.

Evening             Check in to hotel and find some food (list of suggestions from Jake).  Leave 2 keys at front desk for Holly and Jenny so we can relax in your rooms when we get there.

 

Friday, November 22, 2002 (Divers and Alternates’ schedule)

5:45 a.m.            Bill, Jenny, Aubri eat breakfast and get ready to warm-up.

6:30 a.m.          Alternates meet Holly at Wheaton College to go up north – cheer for Aubri!  Get room key to put stuff in rooms.

6:30 a.m.            Bill, Jenny, Aubri arrive at ETHS to warm-up

8:00 a.m.            Last chance to change dive sheets.

8:30 a.m.            Diving Meet Starts!

12:30 a.m.         Alternates and/or divers get in line in gym to get a place on deck.  (Bill, Holly, or Jenny can check them in; one coach take will-call tickets to spectator entrance by concessions stand).  If Aubri is diving on Saturday, she can go out to eat with one coach, relax at the hotel, then come back to watch swimming at 4:00 p.m. (see below)

 

Friday, November 22, 2002 (Swimmers’ Schedule)

8:45 a.m.            Swimmers arrive to warm-up at Wheaton College (until 9:30)

9:45 a.m.            Breakfast at local eating establishment

10:30 a.m.            Leave to go up north.  Jake get key from Jennifer or front desk to relax in 2 divers rooms

11:30 a.m.            Relax at hotel – bring some food with to snack on (you won’t race until late afternoon or evening)

12:45 p.m.             Leave hotel to go to pool

1:30 p.m.             Locker room doors open for swimming contestants and coaches

2:30 p.m.             Pool doors open for swimming warm-ups; Doors open to public to check coats

3:00 p.m.            Spectators allowed in pool spectator area

4:00 p.m.             Meet starts

8:00 p.m.(appx.) Meet ends - check in at hotel and eat at California Pizza Kitchen (Skokie Old Orchard Center)

Saturday, November 17, 2000 – if competing in finals

7:00 a.m.            Breakfast

8:00 am.            Leave for ETHS

8:30 a.m.            Locker room doors open for contestants and coaches

9:00 a.m.            Pool doors open for divers and coaches (until 10:30)

10:45 a.m.             Pool doors open for swimming warm-up (until 12:45)

1:00 p.m.             Meet starts

5:00 p.m.(approx.) meet ends – team meal if money if left over

8:00 p.m.(approx.) return to Wheaton College
