PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS:      Naperville Central, Naperville North, West Aurora, West Chicago, Wheaton (Co-op).

 

SEEDING MEETING:                 Wednesday, October 26, 7:00 PM.  Pizza and pop will be served at 6:45 PM. 

The seeding meeting will be held in the Drivers Ed Room 198.  Park in the stadium lot. Enter through entrance 19.  Go left thru the entrance doors, then right, first left, left again.  The classroom is on your right.

                                               

ENTRIES:                                 Varsity and Freshman may enter 2 per event and one relay.  Junior Varsity has unlimited entries.

                                                Only 3 entries from each school may score but all are eligible for awards.

Diving: ENTRIES: Varsity 2 entries, 11 dives. Junior Varsity unlimited entries in one of two divisions; a: 6 dive division, b: 11 dive division.  Freshman 2 entries, 11 dives

FYI:

Any freshman who only has 6 dives should dive at the JV level in the 6 dive division.  This is a championship meet and divers who are competing work all year to get that 11 dive list by the conference meet.

Note:  Conference OP’s allowing swimmers to swim on two different levels according to the following: Varsity to JV; JV to Varsity; JV to Freshman.  Swimmers cannot move Freshman to Varsity or Varsity to Freshman.

 

DIVING WILL BE HELD AT NAPERVILLE NORTH HS ON OCTOBER 28TH, 2005

Diving sheets need to be faxed by Wednesday, October 26th  to 420-6491.

                                                Seeding will be done by computer based on the times submitted by coaches.

                                                 **Please Note:  Coaches are asked to fax entries to Dick Raab at

Naperville North (630) 420-6491 by noon of Monday, October 21 and email entries to Dick Raab so entries may be entered in the computer.  Changes may be made at the meeting and entries will not be official until the seeding meeting.  Diving sheets must be faxed in by Wednesday, October 26th by 7:00pm or brought to the seed meeting so they can be check prior to the meet.

 

DECK ACCESS:                        Only coaches listed, swimmers entered in the meet and meet officials and workers will be                                                   allowed access to the deck.

 

MEET SCORING:                      According to National Federation Guide.

 

AWARDS:                                 Varsity team champion plaque.  Varsity medals places 1-5.  Junior Varsity ribbons places 1-6.

                                                Freshman ribbons places 1-5.

 

DIVING PRACTICE:                   Practice time will be available during the seeding, please call Steve Mazzarella, NNHS diving coach, to make arrangements.

 

OFFICIALS:                               Referee, Starter, Turn/Stroke judge. One Diving Official and coaches to be selected by Head                                                             Coaches at the seeding meeting.

 

LOCKER ROOMS:                     Locker room space will be assigned.  Please bring your own locks and towels.  Naperville North

                                                nor the DuPage Valley Conference will be responsible for lost or stolen items.

 

 

CONCESSIONS:                       A concession area will be available for competitors and spectators.  No food will be allowed on

                                                pool deck.  No glass bottles or containers are allowed in the locker room area or on the pool

                                                deck.

 

HOSPITALITY ROOM:                A hospitality room will be provided by the Naperville North Athletic Boosters Club for

                                                officials and coaches.

 

CONFERENCE T-SHIRTS:         Girls Swimming and Diving Dupage Valley Conference T-Shirts will be available for $15.00.

                                                Please inform you swimmers and divers.

 

TIME SCHEDULE:                     As per the Terms and Conditions:  3:30 PM -- pool open to divers and coaches

                                                                                                   5:00 PM -- Diving competition.

SWIMMING WILL BE HELD AT NAPERVILLE CENTRAL HS ON OCTOBER 29TH, 2005

                                                                                                   8:30 am--pool open for swimming warm-ups.

                                                                                                   9:00 am--doors open for spectators.

                                                                                                   10:00 am--Swimming Finals.

 

ADMISSIONS:                           $4.00 for Adult  $2.00 for students

                                                Noisemakers and balloons are prohibited from swimming facilities.  Signs

                                                and banners are permitted in spectator areas.
