Athlete Conduct:

Wheaton Athletes will be held to the highest standard of conduct at all times, and will be under coach supervision at all times. An infraction of the school's co-curricular code will result in the athlete being sent home immediately at the parent's expense.

 

  Team Itinerary

 

Thursday, November 18, 2004

1:15 p.m.                After 7th hour, stop by AD’s office for pins and send-off

1:20 p.m.                Girls come to Wheaton College as normal, Drivers bring Aubri with her gear for overnight

2:00 p.m.                practice at Wheaton College, Aubri included – shave down for swimmers

3:00 p.m.                Aubri fax sheet to ETHS (due by 5:00 but may be changes up until 8:00 Friday)

3:45 p.m.                Aubri and Holly leave for Winnetka – get something to eat on the way if you like.

5-9:00 p.m.             Diving practice at ETHS; Holly pick up coach’s packet and will-call tickets.  Included are coaches’ ticket and participant passes.  Holly take check for spectator tickets to Athletic office.  Get alternates their passes when they arrive Friday morning.  Jake will call Holly’s cell phone when he gets close to ETHS.

Evening                   Check in to hotel and find some food (list of suggestions from Jake).  Sleep Well!

 

Friday, November 19, 2004 (Divers and Alternates’ schedule)

5:45 a.m.                Holly, Aubri eat breakfast and get ready to warm-up. Breakfast is available at the Hotel

6:30 a.m.                Holly, Aubri arrive at ETHS to warm-up

8:00 a.m.                Last chance to change dive sheets.

8:30 a.m.                Diving Meet Starts! (Doors open to public at 7:30 a.m.)

10:00 a.m.              One coach take will-call tickets to spectator entrance by concessions stand - west end of the building - write names on tickets!).  If Aubri is diving on Saturday, she can go out to eat with one coach, relax at the hotel, then come back to watch swimming at 4:00 p.m. (see below)

 

Friday, November 19, 2004 (Swimmers Schedule)

8:45 a.m.                Swimmers warm-up at Wheaton College (until 9:30) – do not leave cars overnight at W.C.

9:45 a.m.                Breakfast at local eating establishment

10:00 a.m.              Doors open to public.

10:30 a.m.              Leave to go up north.
11:15 a.m.            Drop off Brian and alternates at pool to get in line. Take competitors to hotel.

11:30 a.m.              Relax at hotel – bring some food with to snack on (you won’t race until late afternoon or evening)

12:45 p.m.              Leave hotel to go to pool

1:30 p.m.                Locker room doors open for swimming contestants and coaches

2:15 p.m.                Pool doors open for swimmers - warm-ups at 2:30

4:00 p.m.                Meet starts

8:00 p.m.(appx.)    Meet ends - dinner at California Pizza Kitchen (Skokie Old Orchard Center)

8:30 am.                 Alternates Leave for ETHS

8:30 a.m.                Locker room doors open for contestants and coaches

9:00 a.m.                Pool doors open for divers and coaches (until 10:30)

10:45 a.m.              Pool doors open for swimming warm-up (until 12:45)

1:00 p.m.                Meet starts

5:00 p.m.(approx.) meet ends – team meal – bring $ in case!

8:00 p.m.(approx.) return to Wheaton – Jake will drop you off at home
